Looking for an interesting way to have students engage with vocabulary? Try this worksheet. Instead of normal, boring work, students become the leaders.
Much like my
Partner Read, this activity requires students to cooperate and work together to learn the material. This can be done to begin teaching the 12 vocabulary terms, but I recommend using it once you have already begun learning the information. This works better when students have an enhanced understanding and are truly able to discuss the ideas.
Students are given different sheets and must work together to come up with a complete set of definitions. This package comes with three appropriate answer keys, nine differentiated definitions sheets, and a directions page.
