This resource contains 36 cards (18 terms and 18 definitions). I place them in a bag and have students match the terms to their definitions. Students can do this alone or with a partner. It is a great station activity that can be easily incorporated into any classroom. It works great in personalized learning classrooms where students are working at their own pace.
To aid students, I print a second copy and place that in a binder. This allows students to check their own work and gain more independence.
Some of the terms included: John Locke, Natural Rights, Second Continental Congress, Four Signers of the DOI, Christopher Gadsden, Abolish and more!
Use this Montessori Card Activity in any classroom.
Print and cut these cards on card stock or laminated printer paper, and place them in a bag and they are ready to be used and re-used for years!
The Answer Key is included. Each term on the left side corresponds to its definition on the right side of the sheet.
