This is a great paired-reading worksheet that uses the CLOZE Notes strategy. Students use the two versions (A and B) of the reading to fill in the blanks on their own sheet.
A one sentence example is below:
African American pilots were trained at the air base at the ____________ Institute in Alabama.
_________________________pilots were trained at the air base at the Tuskegee Institute in Alabama.
Working together, they are able to complete the reading. Each page has around twenty five blanks that need to be filled in.
