Thorough presentation on how geography of the state shaped its history. We discuss the needs of people and how that affected the natives and European settlements, the natural resources and why people settled around them, the different natural resources in the state and how they relate to the economy: timber (forests), beaches, rich soil, rivers, ocean/harbors, etc..., and the damming of rivers to create hydroelectricity.
Includes discussion questions at the end of the presentation!
