Product Description
This booklet covers the following South Carolina Social Studies Standards based upon the essential knowledge found in the state support documents.

3-2.3: Describe initial contact, cooperation, and conflict between the Native Americans and European Settlers of South Carolina.

3-2.4: Summarize the development of the Carolina colony under the Lords Proprietors and the royal colonial government, including the settlement by and trade with the people of Barbados and the influence of other immigrant groups.

My students work independently using a variety of resources to locate the missing information through research. We use our textbook, articles, South Carolina Weekly and other resources to find the information. The booklet is an excellent keepsake and way to review when PASS gets closer!
