If your class is studying South Korea, this is a great project for you. It splits children into 10 groups.
The groups are:
Language and Education
Food, Sports, and Games
Art, Music, Dance
The Korean War
First there is a sign-up sheet for each group. Then there are two to five pages of questions for each group, and a project to complete (timeline, poster, or diorama) that shows what they have learned.
Having separate groups with different project outcomes is a great way to differentiate instruction.
In order to complete this project, students would either need access to the Internet, and/or you would have to provide books and reading materials about South Korea.
