Students read about the Southern colonies and answer questions playing a familiar game called Scoot.
Cut out each numbered question card and place one card on each student’s desk.
Copy the double sided recording sheet and give one to each student.
3. Each student starts at an assigned spot and answers that question to begin. the students must record the answers on their recording sheet under the corresponding card number.
4. Then, on your command of “scoot!” (or any other method you wish to use) each student moves over one seat in the direction you have chosen for your game. practice rotating first! 5. The students continue moving along the route of the game until they have answered every question and have returned back to their original spot.
If YOU HAVE MORE CARDS THAN STUDENTS YOU MAY CHOOSE LESS CARDS OR PUT MORE THAN ONE CARD AT EACH SPOT.
