This is a great activity sheet to assess what your students have learned about the movements of the Earth and the effects it has on the seasons! Some suggested vocabulary the students should know before doing this activity: axis, hemisphere (Northern/ Southern), summer, winter, spring, fall, orbit, rotation, revolution
I included TWO versions of the sheet. The first one has a word choice for only the ones with rotation and revolution, the rest are just short answer - no possible answers given. The second version has two choices for each blank and they must choose the correct answer and write it.
Example from first version: It take about __________ for the Earth to make a revolution.
Example from second version: It takes about (one day, one year) __________for the Earth to make a revolution.
