PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Here is a new collection of 4 fun, space-themed, printable vocabulary games for any speech therapy or classroom. These games provide a motivating, engaging theme for your students to work on 4 different vocabulary tasks: synonyms, antonyms, multiple . The four space-themed games include:

1. Save the Astronauts - addressing Synonyms

In this game, you are asked to save as many astronauts as you can. On the bottom of each astronaut card is a word that you must find a synonym for to "save" them. Be careful, if you draw an asteroid card, you lose all your "saved" aliens. Included in this game is:
* 48 astronaut cards with practice sentences
* 8 wild cards
* one blank sheet for you to add your own examples

2. Find the Aliens - addressing Antonyms

In this game, you are asked to find as many green aliens as you can. On the bottom of each alien card is a word that you must provide the antonym for. Be careful, if you find the purple alien, he will make you give a green alien to another player. Included in this game is:
* 48 rocket cards with sentence practice
* 8 wild cards
* one blank sheet for you to add your own examples

3. Blast Off - addressing Multiple Meaning Words

In this game, you are asked to find as many rockets as you can. On the bottom of each rocket card is a word. You must identify at least 2 meanings for the word to collect it. Be careful, if you run into an asteroid field, you lose a turn. Included in this game is:
* 40 rocket cards with sentence practice
* 8 wild cards
* one blank sheet for you to add your own examples

4. Sky Gazing - addressing Categories

In this game, you are asked to search for stars, moons, or planets. This game has two different category tasks identified by the border color of the card. The green border cards have a category name, and you must identify 3-4 items within that category to keep the card. The yellow border cards have 3 items on it, and you must name the category that they belong to. You may play with just one type of category card or choose to use both types of category cards. If you draw a cloudy sky, you can't find anything in space and must give up a target card to another player. Try to find the boy with his telescope, because you locate a new star and get to steal a card from another player. Included in this game is:

* 32 cards with category names for students to name 3-4 items that belong (green border)
* 32 cards with 3 items to name the category (yellow border)
* 8 wild cards
