This is a Maths investigation task where students find the perimeter and area measurements of their house.
Students may use a floor plan or measure the dimension of their house to complete this task. They will draw their own scaled floor plan of their house, label the perimeter and area for each room and label dimension. They will also answer questions about the process they took to complete this task.
Timeframe: This is a large project task and would need 2-3 weeks for students to gather their floor plans and complete each part.
Suggestion: Display completed scale and measurements on A3 grid paper.
