Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun is a writing activity and craftivity you can use after reading the book Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun by Maria Dismondy. It is a great book to teach about kindness and having the courage to be who you are.
This product includes:
an anchor chart to make which highlights things that a child can do to be special. (Based on the list on the last page of the book)
various writing prompts (different spacing options included)
Prompts have two options: one where the student can also draw a picture and one with just lines.
A poster to display in the class to remind students to "Have the courage to be who you are" or to add as part of a bulletin board display with the hot dog craftivity.
All the pieces to make an hot dog and juice pack to go with the writing prompt. See the preview to see what the finished product looks like.
