This unit plan is based on 5 weeks and is a detailed outline of how I taught the following units in my middle school classroom: school and classes, AR verb vocabulary, tiene que, ir, dar, estar, and shopping in a store. It follows the scope and sequence of Así se dice Level 1 textbook, but you do not need to use this book to be able to follow these plans! If you have the book though, consider this the best money you ever spent at only $5 a week!
NOTE: I do NOT include anything on conjugating AR verbs in this unit. I teach that to my students in unit 1.
It was written for 40 minute periods on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and an 84 minute block on Wednesdays/Thursdays. While your school may not be on the exact same schedule, there are enough activities for you to adapt and fit the needs of your students and classroom!
Within this PDF file there are links to over 20 Google Drive files as well as links to videos, music, and practice websites. My school is a 1:1 device building, and many of my activities require students to have their own device.
Please see the preview for samples of what is included!
