This is a two-page worksheet that's perfect for practicing conjugating -ER and -IR verbs in the present tense. Page 1 offers a basic, step-by-step approach to conjugating, leading the students from subject and verb stem, to verb ending, to complete verb phrase and its translation. Page 2 features a creative sentence writing activity in which the students are given a subject and a verb in the infinitive form. They are asked to create a sentence with given information. I use this activity with my food chapter, but it could easily be adapted for any set of vocabulary.
