Using easy ar, er and ir verbs (and estar), Spanish 1 students use the tú form to ask questions and the yo form to answer, and get signatures. After 5 students obtain the minimum necessary signatures (5?), they turn in their sheets to you for a chance at candy. Then, collect all the papers. Choose 1 paper randomly from the first 5 to turn them in. Say something like, "Elizabeth, will you please ask Joey if he yells during break?" And if either the student asking or answering the question gets it wrong, tear the paper in half and go to the next one. Students must get all 5 right to get candy. They love it!
