This is an activity to have Spanish students coolaberating to make a 4-5 minute mini-movie featuring previously learned Spanish vocabulary and current chapter/content Spanish vocabulary.
Students form groups of 3 and write out 10 questions with answers that they would like to include in their movies. They work together to write a script, create finger puppets, create a background screen, and practice reading and pronouncing the script together.
This activity does require a piece of technology to film. You could use cameras or iPads to create the desired results.
After students have written their script, it gets checked by the instructor for accuracy and then students work on filming their movie. Once finished, share and watch together in class.
There is a rubric attached which looks at the following categories:
cooperación, frases de capitulo, skit writing, editing, escenas, tiempo and speech.
