This is a partner activity that helps students practice their food vocabulary. Give each pair of students their puzzle pieces and tell them to put the pieces together by matching the Spanish word to the English word. Pieces that have a blank side are the corners or sides of the puzzle. I make this game into a race, and the first three pairs to finish the puzzle get a prize (like candy). Students LOVE this activity.
This rompecabeza is for food vocab (like carrots and sandwiches) and for regular -ER and -IR verbs.
NOTE: Before class, you will need to print these out and cut them into squares. I place them in mini ziplocs, but you could also just put them on a paper clip to keep the pieces together.
