For this worksheet, students need to know (or be in the process of learning) how to use "gustar" with a verb (Me gusta bailar) and conjugate -ar verbs (Yo bailo). The main skills being practiced here are reading comprehension, choosing the right conjugation of "ser," choosing an adjective that makes sense in context, and making the adjective agree in gender and number.
The worksheet has three tables: conjugations of "ser," -ar verb endings with "hablar" as an example, adjectives from chapter 1B of Realidades 1. Students can refer to them as they fill out the worksheet.
Each item has a "gustar" sentence and a conjugated verb sentence as clues. For 1-5, students are given the pronoun and the adjective without its ending. Students will fill in the conjugation of "ser" and the proper adjective ending (Ella ___ reservad__.)
For 6-11, student are only given the pronoun and must fill in the conjugation of "ser," choose the adjective that makes sense with the clue sentences, and put the proper ending on it (Ella ___ _____.)
For 12-16, students are asked to use the models from the worksheet to create their own sentences: "gustar," conjugated verb, "ser" with adjective.
These sentences use vocabulary from Realidades 1, chapters 1A and 1B.
