Much of Spanish 1 is recalling vocabulary or basic conjugations. This worksheet encourages students to utilize some higher order thinking. Students need to think about which verbs would make sense given the extra information in the questions.
For the first part, students need to match the verb to the rest of the information (example: andar/en bicicleta). The verbs align with those found in En Espanol 1, Unidad 2 Etapa 3 but can apply in any Spanish 1 classroom.
For the second part of the worksheet, students are given subjects and extra information and need to state what that person is going to do. For example: Maria, ???, despues de hacer la tarea; "Maria va a ver la television despues de hacer la tarea." Answers may vary as students can match different verbs with different information.
An answer sheet is included for the matching part (the other answers vary).
