This is a beginner's worksheet for practicing the conjugations of the Spanish verb tener. I use it for conjugating in the present tense, but it could easily be adapted for other tenses as well.
There are a total of 40 practice sentences on this worksheet -
*20 sentences for the general use of tener (I have, you have...). This section uses food vocab from the previous unit - a great way to ensure that students are retaining vocab from past chapters
*10 sentences for expressions with tener (tenemos suerte, tienes miedo...)
*10 sentences for expressing age (yo tengo dieciocho años, mi abuelo tiene setenta y nueve años...) - writing sentences about age is a great way to review number vocab that the students may have forgotten
For each sentence, there is a blank for the student to write in the conjugation of tener, and then another longer blank for the student to translate the sentence to English.
