Students write a fun composition on the "10 Commandments of..." to practice forming and using informal affirmative and negative commands (imperative mood) in Spanish.
An example is provided of "How to be a horrible student", which the class first rewrites to be about "How to be an excellent student" as an introduction to the project. Then, students choose their own topic and write a list of commands. Students can turn in a rough draft to revise if desired. Rubric is provided and all directions are in Spanish. Appropriate for beginning and intermediate Spanish students.
