This is a compilation of 25 composition assignments designed for Spanish 3 classes. All of the assignments have leading questions to get the students thinking before they write and several have specific tense requirements. The topics cover many personal topics such as past experiences, dreams and plans for the future. The topics are designed to get students writing in a variety of intermediate level tenses, particularly the present subjunctive, present perfect, preterit, imperfect and future. The assignments require students to write a minimum of 120-150 words in Spanish. Several of the assignments are grouped so that you can administer an in-class writing assessment while varying the topics handed out in order to encourage honesty. For example, compositions 10A, 10B and 10C have the same requirements, but different topics and thus could be given during one class as three different versions of the same assignment or could be given on three different occasions.
