This unit presents financial vocabulary (cashing checks, overdrawing, etc) as well as two separate lessons on adverbial clauses- ASPACE and THE CD
ASPACE expressions always use the subjunctive in the subordinate clause (Antes de que, Para que, etc) while THECD expressions only use the subjunctive in the subordinate clause when expressing a future idea (tan pronto como, hasta que, etc)
Student note sheet and guided notes on finance vocabulary, ASPACE expressions, and THE CD expressions which includes when the use the subjunctive or the indicative.
There's a review note sheet and guided notes on the future indicative which is helpful before showing THE CD expressions
There are many practices that review the finance vocabulary and ASPACE and the THECD individually as well as together where students have to distinguish between the two sets of expressions
There's an Educreation activity where students give financial situational advice using the subjunctive as needed. There is a model, instructions, and rubric provided.
There are quizzes that cover ASPACE and financial vocabulary as well as a cumulative test on all vocabulary and distinguishing between ASPACE and THECD. There's a version of the test with a listening component (script included) and one without.
There is also my memory-like review game with a twist to help students review before the test.
