This unit has FOUR school weeks of 55-minute day-by-day lesson plans!
This unit presents the present and present perfect subjunctive.
I preface this unit with a quick review of formal commands which has been covered in other levels because the formation is the same as the subjunctive.
Also beneficial is to review verbs with irregular "yo" forms in the present since subjunctive formation starts with that conjugation (hacer, conocer, estar, etc)
Students learn expressions that require the subjunctive, how to form it, when to use it versus the indicative and the infinitive.

A writing assignment where students assume the role of a child, a mother, and a grandmother and give advice to the other two using the subjunctive.
