Description
This powerpoint explains the origin and cultural uses of chocolate in Mayan and Aztec cultures while also practicing the difference between adjectives agreeing with masculine and feminine nouns. It is completely in Spanish with some words translated in parentheses for comprehension.
The presentation concludes with students drawing their own Aztec designs on styrofoam coffee cups from which they can drink chocolate as the Mayans and Aztecs did. Simply use baker's chocolate, water and black pepper. You won't need to make much because the kids won't like it but that's part of the fun!
