This activity aligns well with most textbook travel units. Students will read 12 statements and hashtags about an airport and have to match them with corresponding pictures. Then they will have to answer a simple question based on the picture. The hashtags provide humor and the extra questions make the students pay closer attention and interpret what they see more carefully. There is also an optional bonus activity where students are asked to rewrite their own hashtags for an image of their choice. You can either print the pictures and place them around the room for a movement activity, or have students view on their devices.
The document is fully editable and almost entirely in the present tense.
