My students have used this graphic organizer with alphabet books to help them develop their writing skills and knowledge of initial sounds.
It can also be used as spelling or dictation assessment tool, or it can laminated and cut into strips so students can use it over and over at home or at a center.
The additional vocabulary charts are larger. Students can draw and/or write in them. The vocabulary charts can be used as a reference tool, or they can even be laminated and cut so students can arrange words beginning with initial/medial sounds as explained below.
Please note that Spanish does not have too many words that begin with ñ. Also, words do not begin with rr. They are considered medial sounds. The vocabulary charts reflect that.
