Spanish Apraxia/Oral-Motor Sequencing Cards
This set of flashcards is designed for Spanish language-learners with oral-motor planning deficits or goals for imitation of early speech sounds. It progresses in a hierarchy beginning with vowel imitation all the way to CVC/V syllables and can be utilized in a variety of ways to meet your student’s needs. Pictures may be represented by a single sound (such as the central vowel or initial consonant/syllable of the word), targeted as word approximations, and/or combined in a sequence to foster oral-motor coordination. These pictures also composite what may be considered “core vocabulary” for many students and can increase in complexity as the their speech production improves.
