This cultural bellringer is set up to be photo-copied on both sides for 2 weeks worth of warm-ups and objectives, all on one paper. The formatting is done, all you need to do is print and make copies for your students!
Ponte las Pilas is a phrase that I learned while I was teaching in Spain. At the beginning of class, and sometimes during class, teachers will tell students "ponte las pilas, _______" very frequently when they were to get to work (or back to work). Literally, put your batteries in. I personally like this cultural "saying" more than warm-up, bellringer, or calentamiento; it's a great way to add culture implicitly into the classroom!
