In order to play this game, “1, 2, 3…¿Qué hora es?,” students should first be familiar with basic colors, telling time on the hour and the ½ hour, & basic school vocabulary in Spanish. (See my other materials under “Lesson 4 - Telling Time & School Vocabulary.”)
Print out the next four pages on cardstock, (laminate or use page protectors for durability). Then, place both pages side by side to make one game board as seen above.
Instructions for playing the game can be found on the game board itself. You will need one dice per game and one “game marker” for each player. Recommended number of students per game is 4-5 players.
Two unique board games are included!
How to Play…
Place your marker at the start (COMIENZO). Roll the dice and move forward counting in Spanish. When you land on a square, answer the question in Spanish. If you answer the question correctly, move forward one square. If you answer incorrectly, stay put. If you land on a square that says, “PIERDES UN TURNO,” you lose a turn. If you land on a square that says, “DOS PASOS ADELANTE,” move forward two squares. The first person to get to the finish (FINAL) wins the game.
