Brag Tags are not a new thing. I saw the idea on the internet and could not find anything in Spanish to help me in my bilingual class. I have created some for bilingual classrooms, and I used them to encourage and motivate kids to do their homework as well as to encourage good behavior in class. They worked great this year and want to share this with you. I bought the plastic string at Hobby Lobby for like $6 and have enough to use for 3 years. I also bought the fasteners there as well for like less than $2. It was well worth the money. The necklaces lasted all year. Some people like to laminate them, but I didn’t do that and they lasted all year as well. You may have to repair the tags if they fall off, and it is simple to do so. To repair them put a piece of tape over the damaged hole and punch the hole again with a hole puncher. I hope you and your students enjoy using them this year.
