This packet includes simple activities to help your early Spanish readers decode and blend three letter consonant-vowel-consonant words.
1. Listen and color the CVC word (teacher led)
2. Listen and color the sounds in the CVC word, write it on the line (teacher led)
3. Answer sheet to 2
4. Read and draw a picture that shows the word (independent)
5. Listen and write the correct sounds in the Elkonin boxes (teacher led)
6. Answer key to 5
7. Touch each sound and make them individually, slide finger down the arrow and blend (independent- great for laminating and adding to independent reading bags!)
8. & 9. CVC word flash cards (laminate and put on a ring for a center or for reading bags, send home for practice with families, or print, cut and hang around the room)
