This set of six Spanish words with pictures can be cut into puzzle shapes for articulation practice. This set of target words can be used with students who struggle with phonological processing, articulation, or apraxia. These carefully selected words all contain two syllables with initial velar consonants followed by a medial alveolar consonant. They are especially helpful for teaching young children to say two syllable words and reducing the occurrence of phonological processes: syllable reduplication, consonant assimilation, velar fronting, and weak syllable deletion. Use them for "cycles approach" practice, coloring, single word drilling, making short phrases, and for homework that parents can do at home with your students.
