This activity is a great way to integrate Spanish and technology in your classroom! This form can be printed out and given to your students to give them step-by-step instructions on how to make a free 30-second Go Animate cartoon in Spanish. This activity is flexible and has many different ways you can present it to the students as an educator. I have had students make these cartoons with an open license for creativity as long as it was in Spanish and used correct vocabulary and grammar. Other times, I have had students make these cartoons with a more specific purpose such as practicing only the preterite tense. You could also make this an in-class activity in a computer lab/library with each student at a computer, or have students do this as an at-home assignment. I have had students play their cartoons in class and the class has to write down three things they comprehend for each cartoon, to practice listening skills. This assignment is wonderful and administration really enjoys seeing students using technology and higher-level thinking skills. This is a fantastic assignment!
