These surveys are great for getting to know your students’ needs and interests better so that you can design great and engaging instruction. There is a beginning of the year survey that asks questions about how they like to learn - with a partner, alone, with music, in quiet, etc. and how comfortable they feel in the target language.
The end of the year survey asks students to reflect on their learning and time in class. What did they like? What was challenging? How have they've grown? And what advice would they give someone new to class?
I use these in my upper elementary grades and we filled out as a group in the younger grades but they could easily be used in middle and high school as well! Give your students una voz!
