Spanish Classroom Objects Interactive Activity, Powerpoint Game
A Su Riesgo is an interactive powerpoint game with many opportunities for students to practice and review classroom object vocabulary in Spanish. Be sure to download the preview file to see how the activity works.
Set-Up and Play:
--Divide the class into teams of 3-4.
--Teams choose a square and say the number. The teacher clicks on the number to reveal a question.
--The team answers, either orally or in writing. A click on that screen will reveal the answer for verification.
--If the team is correct, they choose a colored question mark on the slide (red, blue or orange) that will reveal 1, 2 or 3 points, a Caramba (which takes points from the team) or a slide with directions to take a point from another team or to give points to another team. A click on the home icon returns to the number board.
--Upon return to the number board the numbers chosen will change color to show that they are no longer available.
--The team with the most points once all numbers have been chosen wins the game.
The three different point possibilities on each screen allow for this activity to be used multiple times with the same class.
