This game is very interactive and is very similar to "UNO". It requires some preparation, but once it's made, you will have it forever! I copied the witches and clothing items on 4 different colored papers (just like UNO). You also want to make sure that the paper you use is thick enough so the opposing player does not see through the cards. Students love this game as they practice their clothing, colors and noun adjective agreement.
There are 4 colors of cards (or more if you have more colored paper). There are four witches (similar to the wild card in UNO) in the deck, one in each color. There are 52 cards in all. Each player is dealt eight cards. The rest of the cards are turned over in a stack. One card is face up and this is the discard pile. Each player discards a card which matches the previous card. The player must say the article of clothing and the color correctly, matching it with noun adjective agreement. The card can be the clothing item or the same color. The person who runs out of cards is the winner!
