This is an all-class activity to practice clothing vocabulary. It is designed to test students quick recall of vocabulary. No English is used in the activity, except to explain the directions.
Divide class into teams -- however many you wish.
First, slides with pictures of the clothing and their French names are shown. This will enable a quick review of the vocabulary and to familiarize students with the pictures used.
A slide, with 6 pictures of clothing items, will be shown for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds, the slide automatically advances to the next slide which states "¿Están listos?".
After you click from that slide, a new slide will be displayed but one of the previous images will be missing. The first team to buzz in and correctly identify the missing item in Spanish wins one point. If the team is incorrect, another team may guess.
Note: Some of the Spanish clothing names may not be correct, as I am a French teacher. Those can easily be edited in the text box in Powerpoint. The hard work (pictures, animations, etc.) have been done for you, though! Because I am not sure that 100% of the clothing names are correct, I am pricing this one 50 cents less than the French version, as I know those are correct.
