Spanish Clothing La Ropa Activity | Digital or Print Panal de Preguntas Game

Make digital learning more engaging with Panal de Preguntas! This present tense writing activity (with a focus on LA ROPA, clothing preferences in Spanish,) is interactive and ready for both virtual and in person play via Google Drive TM. Please note that I did my best to include non-binary and inclusive language in this resource. See below for examples.

This activity is great for hybrid and remote learning in Spanish class; your students will love to compete in pairs or small groups. Have fun!

What is covered in this activity?

This activity focuses on the present tense of the verbs preferir, llevar, ponerse, gustar, and the uses of these verbs with common clothing vocabulary words.

Please note that I did my best to include non-binary and inclusive language in this resource. I understand that this is not accepted by RAE. I also understand that I likely did not use language that is perfect. What type of questions are there?

A variety of 15 question prompts included. (Most with the prompt "Menciona 3 cosas.")

Examples:

¿Qué llevas a la casa de tu mejor amigo/a/ue?

¿Prefieres llevar los tenis o las sandalias?

¿Qué te pones cuando hace calor?

¿Qué llevas cuando hace frío?

¿Te gusta más la ropa nueva o la ropa gastada (muy usada)?

¿Qué llevas a una fiesta?

What is included?

Your PDF download includes:

• a Panal de Preguntas version that is ready to go as-is, as a low-tech option with a printable response sheet. This option is best for individual student work

• teacher instructions, a support video, and challenges for students to earn points during digital gameplay

• a link to your own digital copy within Google Slides TM (this digital copy contains the digital game pieces and instructions for students in the margins!)

What is Panal de Preguntas?

Students work in pairs or small groups and take turns choosing a number from page one. Clicking on that number/button will lead them to a question. In the digital copy, they can type their response directly on the question slide, in a prepared space. They then use the coded buttons to navigate back to the homepage, where they claim their space with a digital marker from the margin. Students are challenged to arrange their markers in certain patterns to earn points!

Students move between edit and present modes within Google Slides TM to utilize the navigation buttons and enter their responses. A support video is included for help with this :)

The game board includes buttons that are linked to 15 prompts. Each prompt has space for students to answer directly within the digital copy. (Again, there is a printable answer sheet for a low-tech option.)

There are digital game pieces for up to 4 students, but for the challenges/points, it is best to work in pairs or groups of 3. This activity can also be completed individually!
