This interactive unit contains four pages. It is a great tool to introduce students to clothing and celebrate St. Patrick's Day in your class. Your students will enjoy labeling the charming leprechaun. They will love the vocabulary, Word Search and Cross Puzzle. Great SUB plan for March

It contains

1- Vocabulary page- 12 clothing items and a word bank
2- Label the Duende - Have students label the Duende clothing. There are three bonus words :Los tréboles (shamrocks) El violín (violin) El cinturón (belt) .
3- WORD SEARCH- Students love word searches. It is an amazing tool to reinforce spelling and word recognition. Make it a game. Have students paired in teams and can practice the vocabulary words and increase word recognition. Homework passes for the first groups to find all words.
4- Mini Assessment- Wrap-up your lesson by challenging students to complete the Cross Word Puzzle without looking at their vocabulary worksheets. Great way to teach students to do their own assessments.

Follow-up Activities

1-": Clothing Catalog - This interesting project will allow students to develop their own clothing catalog. It is a great project to review colors, materials and to help students develop correct gender/noun statements.

2- Fashion Show- Rearrange the desks in the classroom as a catwalk. Have students walk the catwalk. Make it into a writing exercise. All other students will be writing"tiene" statements
"Tiene camisa roja". Stop the music and have students read the statements until the students' outfit is described.
