This is an 86 page booklet of various types of handouts and worksheets that can be used in different ways as guided practice with Spanish clothing vocabulary. It is intended for elementary school students in grades 3-5. There are several levels of worksheets ranging from novice to low intermediate levels.
Pages 2-5 are handouts that match the vocabulary with pictures.
Pages 6-11 ask the student to complete the missing letters in each word.
Pages 12-17 ask the student to match pictures with words.
Pages 18- 23 show pictures and words. The student is asked to copy the word.
Pages 24-29 asks the student to write the word that matches the picture.
Pages 30-35 are multiple choice exercises where the student circles the word that matches the picture.
Pages 36-39 are jumbled word practice.
Pages 40-43 are word search practice.
Page 44 asks students to fill in the blank. Example: Haroldo lleva camisa.
Page 45 is another fill in the blank exercise. Example: Cuando Salma va a un restaurante elegante, lleva vestido.
Page 46 continues with fill in the blank practice. Example: Cuando voy a clase de español, llevo ______.
Page 47 shows how to conjugate llevar and asks the student to write each conjugated form.
Page 48 is fill in the blank practice with llevar. Example: Alonso lleva camiseta.
Pages 49 and 50 are handouts that match clothing with color vocabulary.
Pages 51 and 52 are fill in the blank practice. Example: Hilda lleva un vestido dorado.
Page 53 is a handout that explains gender and number with the use of colors.
Page 54 asks the student to write answers to questions. A visual hint of color exected in the answer is given as a clue.Example: ¿De qué color is la camisa de Andrés? A red box is next to the question. La camisa de Andrés es roja.
Pages 55 and 56 show pictures and ask the student to write 5 colors that they see.
Pages 57-59 provide practice with ponerse.
Pages 60-62 provide practice with quitarse.
Pages 63-65 are dialogues.
Pages 66-68 consist of handouts and simple speaking practice with simple dialogues such as: ¿Vas a comprar la camisa verde? No, prefiero la roja.
Pages 69 and 70 ask the student to write down what they would put in a suitcase for a winter trip to Switzerland and a summer trip to Spain.
Page 71 is a handout about accessories and footwear.
Pages 72 and 73 ask the student to write the word that matches accessories or footwear.
Page 74 provides practice with jewelry vocabulary.
Page 75 asks the student to group clothing words by category.
Page 76 asks the student to match clothing with parts of the body.
Page 77 asks the student to match clothing with definitions. Example: Las zapatillas. Son zapatos de tela para estar por casa.
Page 78 uses the word chaqueta as an example of these sounds: cha, che ,chi, cho, chu. Words and pictures are given. Chaqueta, charlar, muchacha, cheque, leche, noch, chico, Shile, chispa, chocolate,choza, ocho, chubasco,enchufe, lechuga.
Pages 79 and 80 asks the student to write the words on page 78 in groups. Example: cha - chaqueta, charlar, muchacha.
Pages 81 and 82 introduce and provide practice with the consonant ll. Llevar, llover, millón, silla, amarillo, llorar, bombilla.
Page 83 asks the student to write about what Cecilia would wear to an elegant restaurant and what she would wear to the beach.
Page 84 asks the student to write about what Pablo would wear to a friend's house in the country and what he would wear to Spanish class.
Pages 85 and 86 are the answer key to the word search puzzles and the photo and clip art credit.s
