A great song by salsero, Jerry Rivera- Día y noche pienso en ella. It contains many examples of preterite and imperfect verbs and the difference between the background and the actions is very clear. Students can fill in the blanks with the words that have been removed and then once they have the correct words, they can identify the actions vs, the settings and tell the story that Jerry Rivera is trying to convey in the song.

Includes answer key and a link to just the song and a link to a live performance.
