This zip file includes everything you need to teach a lesson on ¿cómo estás?, ¿qué tal?, and ¿cómo está usted?.
This lesson includes:
-a powerpoint that teaches the three questions and 5 possible answers with smiley and frowny faces (estoy muy bien, estoy bien, estoy regular, estoy mal, and estoy muy mal)
-a vocabulary sheet for students to refer to
-a classwork that includes listening, speaking, and writing activities
-a listening script
-an exit ticket
-a lesson plan guiding the teacher through everything
-answer keys for everything
Some of the documents (except the powerpoint) are Word docs, so they are editable for any curriculum, and some are non-editable PDFs to preserve the clipart. The powerpoint is saved as both .ppt and .pptx.
-listen for how people are doing and mark off what you hear on your paper
-partner activity: ask your partner how s/he and others are doing and write what s/he tells you
-whole class speaking activity: walk around the room and ask other students their name and how they feel
-writing activity: cómo estás vs cómo está usted
-writing activity: answer questions
Several activities also review "cómo te llamas".
Check out the preview to see everything included!
