Students translate 40 English to Spanish sentences using a variety of common verbs that are regular in the conditional tense. Sample verbs are llevar, dormir, hablar, lavar, afeitarse, cepillarse, caminar, practicar, limpiar, aprender, and cantar. The sentences contain several adverbs of time, such as every day and tonight, and the vocabulary used is fairly common, with words such as house, church, dresses, and basketball. There are several family words and different words for people such as , lady, children, teachers, and men. Sample sentences are: The lady would buy the dresses. Would you sing at church? The answer key is included.
