We've all seen it: Student A asks a question in Spanish and student B responds. Now what? Student A just sits there not having a way to respond to his partner's answer. Help your students find that appropriate response using rejoinders such as ¡Qué aburrido!, ¡No me digas!, increíble, or lo siento. This resource includes a list of common rejoinders for students to keep in one convenient location in their notebooks. Additionally, these rejoinders can be practiced in class using the corresponding power point practice. A situation is given and students must respond using an appropriate rejoinder. The slides have clues: a blinking face indicates the rejoinder corresponding to the notes. This is a great way to really get your students talking and to help them keep the conversation going!
