This 1-2 day activity is a good filler for some cultural experience for high school students. It looks at the tipping etiquette in several Spanish-speaking countries as well as the conversions for their money to/from US dollars. I let students work in pairs with this packet so they can talk it out together, especially with the math for the conversions. The conversions that are included were current when created but, of course, are changing all the time. The file provided is a Word document so you can change it and update it whenever desired.
The preview is the entire question packet. The complete purchase will also give you the answer document for the packet and the informational pages with the information about tipping for Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexica, Panama, Peru, Spain, and the USA.
