Originally done on google drive and docs, but easily adapted to any other format, students select a Hispanic country and research more impactful facts than surface level culture (ie: poverty, government systems, historical events).
In my classroom:
Students pasted work into a collective google doc and formatted/designed the titles and subtitles accordingly to create a unique and cohesive piece. Students completed the assignment in September of their Spanish 1 class (thus, directions and project were in English). Students used laptops to research the information.
Students can write, print, paint, or whatever other artistic and creative medium their teacher feels appropriate, to meet the requirements listed. The almanac can also be completed in Spanish if your students are at that level.
