Are you teaching the date in Spanish to your students? Are they having a little trouble remembering how it is written/said in Spanish? This game will help them further understand it and will allow them to practice their listening skills!
Included in this product are:
-Blank Template for you to make your own cards
-Days & Months cards [with just the word]
-A date card for every single day of the year
Print as many copies as you need on yardstick and laminate.
To play the game, divide your class into groups (3-4 or more if necessary) and tell the students to put their hands on their head. Call out a date in English. The students look for the date that was called and attempt to slap/grab the date before any of their group members do. This triggers a little competition amongst everyone and my students love it!
The student at the end of the game with the most dates called wins.
Note: The dates are NOT in chronological order in this product. If you wish to focus on a month at a time, you will need to sort them out. My intention was to practice either the whole year or in increments.
