Need a quick, communicative activity for basic descriptions?
This is a great activity to practice basic vocabulary for Spanish adjectives that mixes reading, visuals, and speaking! Students read a simple description of a person, then match it with the corresponding picture. Once they have matched each person with their description, students pair with a partner for a structured speaking activity where they discuss each of the photos/descriptions from the first activity.
This download is perfect as an in class activity for novice learners going over adjectives for the first time. You can also use this as a review at any point throughout the year, or as a quick review for upper level students (who can always use practice on that low level vocabulary!).
Included is the two page student handout and an answer key.
