This Spanish Digital Escape Room is a super fun Breakout Game. Students must follow the clues in order to escape the restaurant. La Sala de escape para la comida provides students with more comprehensible input in Spanish and practice of food and restaurant vocabulary. Students answer questions about food, watch a video, put together a puzzle, and follow clues in order to escape the restaurant. Students may work in pairs or individually. Great for online or distance learning!

• Vocabulary necessary for students to follow instructions

• Four locks / cerraduras that students must open

• Clue # 1: Students read a paragraph extracting the red letters to form a sentence which leads them to the first activity

• Activity # 1: Students answer questions about food

• Clue # 2: Students follow instructions that lead them to a puzzle that asks them, "Cómo se dice, 'I'm thirsty'"?

• Video: The previous instructions led students to a video about food.

• Activity #2: Students fill in the cloze activity while watching the video.

• Activity #3: Students answer more questions about food, whether it is a vegetable, fruit, dessert or meat.

• Photographs that students click on to find the next clue: grapes, large meal

• Activity # 4: Students identify the food according to the pictures and use a code to figure out the next clue.
