Rotating interviews are a great way to get kids moving, mixing, and speaking in Spanish! Students are given 12 pointed questions and rotating through 12 partners, asking questions aloud, responding aloud, and recording what they find in written form.
I designed these activities to help students understand and practice interrogative structures - question words, verb before subject, and how helping verbs like "do" and "does" are built into the question. The questions are intentionally split - some open-ended questions that use question words and some yes-or-no questions that just use verbs and subjects so students get practice with both structures.
This file includes instructions with two options for how to play and a possible cultural lesson to add in. It includes both PDF and DOC versions, so you can edit the questions if you want to incorporate unit-specific vocabulary.
This activity reviews Spanish direct object pronouns. I intentionally kept the vocabulary simple and only used present tense. This activity reviews direct object pronouns only – not combined with indirect object pronouns.
No prep - just print and go for 15 minutes of conversation in the target language!
